The public approval process for development projects is often politically charged. Public officials must answer questions such as “Is this the type of development our community wants” and “What impact will this project have on our community.” To help answer these questions, Silverlode works with clients to create and analyze alternative development scenarios (e.g. no development, moderate development, and full development) using GIS. This allows our clients to quantify the economic, fiscal, and environmental impacts associated with the alternative development scenarios.
