Jessica Base is a consultant with Silverlode Consulting Corp. a comprehensive economic development consulting firm, providing expertise to public and private sector clients.   Jessica has worked on a wide-range of projects with Silverlode, including labor market and industry analysis, community trend analysis, community development, business retention, expansion, and attraction, grant research, writing, and compliance, and business incentives.

Prior to Silverlode, Jessica worked on economic impact, industry-cluster analysis, and economic redevelopment studies.  Additionally, Jessica worked with Abt SRBI, a global research and strategy organization, on a regional transportation study in the greater Cincinnati region.   Volunteering for the Cleveland-Cuyahoga County Port Authority, Jessica worked with the Economic Development team on a marketing strategy and identifying economic development best practices within the maritime industry.

Jessica earned a Master of Community Planning, with a specialization in Economic Development from the University of Cincinnati, a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Geography from Ohio University.
