Jason Hamman is a Senior Consultant with Silverlode Consulting Corp., a comprehensive economic development advisory firm providing services to both public and private sector clients. Prior to joining Silverlode Consulting, Jason was a member of the research department at Team NEO, a 16-county regional economic development organization representing Northeast Ohio. His work at Team NEO supported business attraction and expansion efforts by providing customized analysis of economic indicators and demographic data, labor market and industry analysis, economic impact modeling, and GIS mapping. Jason was also a primary contributor to Team NEO’s Northeast Ohio Quarterly Economic Review. Jason also worked as an Economic Development Specialist for the Lorain County Community Development Department.
While at Silverlode, Jason has worked with a broad range of public and private sector clients. He has extensive experience working with cities, counties, and regional economic development organizations to create and implement economic development strategic plans, identifying target industry sectors to better focus business attraction efforts, and developing direct marketing campaigns for available properties. Jason’s work with private sector clients includes site selection and location analysis, market research, and geospatial data analysis using GIS mapping tools.
Jason earned a Master of Public Administration degree from the Maxine Goodman Levin College of Urban Affairs at Cleveland State University. He also earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Cleveland State University. Jason is also licensed Ohio Realtor with Howard Hanna Commercial Real Estate. He has served as the Chairman of the City of Vermilion’s Economic Development Commission, and is currently serving as a member of the City of Avon Lake’s Planning Commission. Jason lives in Avon Lake, Ohio with his wife and two children.
